ATTENTION: For diabetic clients, having diabetes doesn't mean you can't have a tattoo, but before deciding to have one done you must be well and ensure that your diabetes is well controlled. High blood sugar levels, for example, can complicate the healing process and increase the risk of infection. Similarly to diabetic clients, clients currently undergoing Chemotherapy are not necessarily prohibited from tattoo treatment. Please consult with your Physician prior to scheduling an appointment.
WHAT ARE THE PROCESS FOR YOUR BROWS PROCEDURE?
Step 1: We will take some before photos and prep you for brow mapping. Next is to draw in the shape and outline of the brows with a brow pencil. Here, I will be asking for your input as for whether you'd like your brows as I've drawn it or if you would like to make adjustments. Once we've agreed on the shape we will proceed with the actual procedure.
Step 2: I will choose the pigment that fits your style and do a light swatch on your forehead. Here, I will be asking for your input as well.
Step 3: Let the procedure begin! The procedure will take up to 3-3.5 hours for new clients so make sure you leave time in your schedule when you make an appointment.
Step 4: You will get to see your beautiful eyebrows! We will take some after photos, go over the after care instructions, and book your touch-up appointment.
WHAT IS THE HEALING PROCESS?
Your new eyebrows will go through several phases during the healing cycle. True reflection of healed color can only be assessed four weeks after treatment.
Touch-ups and/or correction of the shape/design is recommended at least 4 weeks after initial treatment. It will go from too dark, to too light, to just right!
Immediately after the procedure, the pigment will appear very sharp and dark. This is because the pigment is still seating on top of your skin and has not yet settled in completely. The color of the pigment will soften gradually (do not be alarmed if you see some pigment on the cotton swab as this is excess pigment and/or body fluid that is naturally exiting your skin).
Once the healing of the skin starts taking place you may get dandruff flakes or dry skin in your brow area. This might give you the impression that the color pigment is fading too quickly. However, this is just superficial color and dry skin being naturally removed from your eyebrows.
Your eyebrows will be the lightest tones during days 5-12 because the color is absorbed in the deeper layers of the skin. Later skin cells push it back to the upper layers. Once the healing is completed, you will enjoy a pair of beautiful, new, natural-looking eyebrows.
HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL MY TOUCH-UP APPOINTMENT?
Please wait at least four weeks to see the true color, as it will take on new strength, and it is only after four weeks that your touch-up/adjustment can be done. Your second appointment is to tighten up your shape, touch up any light spots and also to assess how your skin reacts to the process and the chosen color.
ATTENTION: Follow up appointments must be at least four weeks post-treatment for eyebrows and eyeliners. For lips, must be at least eight weeks post-treatment.
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
Permanent makeup can last 1 to 3 years for most people. Clients that choose a soft look, light color shade or did not follow the aftercare instructions may require more touch up appointments.
HOW OFTEN WILL I NEED TO GET MY BROWS REDONE? WHAT'S THE COST?
This is a semi-permanent process. It will fade over time, to varying degrees. A touch-up or color boost appointment is recommended at least once every year to keep brows looking their best. Pricing is available under Services page.
IS IT PAINFUL?
Yes, the client can feel discomfort but we numb. Everything depends on the deepness the technician works, pain tolerance, numbing strength. There are two types of numbing – primary and secondary. We always recommend not to use primary anesthesia as the retention of color is better and the skin is not so tough, slippery so it is much easier to do the first pass of treatment without numbing. The first pass duration is about 4-5 minutes, after that, we always use secondary anesthesia. So the clients can decide if he/she can handle the pain during the first pass (usually the scale of pain is 5-6). If yes, then we use only secondary numbing. If not, then we use both and the client almost doesn’t feel anything.

WHY ARE KIDS NOT ALLOWED?
Permanent makeup such as tattooing involves chemicals, blood, sharps, and a host of safety precautions that children don’t know about and aren’t capable of following. There’s a huge risk that they could be exposed to HIV, Hepatitis or other bloodborne diseases not to mention getting into chemicals that might burn or kill them. It’s just not safe to have kids in our studio.
